After Week Nine
What a fabulous Home!! Who would believe
this used to be that old run down
eco-nightmare just 9 short weeks ago? I
don’t think anyone ever imagined this
green home would turn out so beautiful.
The MMHG crew was able to take a few
days off for the Fourth of July holiday,
and so we have combined weeks 8 and 9.
It was a much-needed change of pace to
be able to sleep in a couple days. Up
until the small break, we had utilized
almost every hour of daylight for the
previous 8 weeks. Anyhow, we’re back at
it, ready to go strong through our
completion date of August 25th.

rock concert in Carras Park. On afternoon’s
when the great white tent is raised and young
musicians set up their amps and drum sets,
youthful decadence is broadcast across downtown
Missoula and the surrounding areas reminding all
of those within earshot that Missoula has not
forgotten how to rock.

Summer
Skiing?

In paradise those who have lived righteously ski
champagne powder in bluebird conditions. In
Missoula those who live righteously ski Lolo
Peak in the spring. On a beautiful afternoon
several days ago, on top of the 9,096 ft. peak,
a group of righteous skiers tore through ankle
deep corn snow in bluebird conditions quenching
their thirst for a final dose of ski heaven.

Local Missoula has selected Missoula’s premier
fun in the sun summer hangouts. Managed by
parks and recreation and thoroughly
distributed throughout town, these parks host a
variety of recreation activities. With
opportunities for all ages, take the kids out
for a Saturday picnic or reserve for a family
reunion or wedding. Reservations for picnic
shelters require a fee and a cleaning deposit.
Playfair Recreation Building can be rented for
classes, gatherings and meetings.

Carpenter, a brilliant Missoula artist whose
never ending imagination captivates a literal
dream world, the world of the fantastic.
Tiffany is a native of the Butte area, but has
lived in Missoula for several years where she
has studied art at UM. During April, her work
will be on display at Butterfly Herbs. Her
pieces tell lively stories and represent
significant events in the lives of the real life
story characters. Her use of multiple mediums
shows her dynamic ability to combine completely
different materials to create a singular and
